Visit Vatican at affordable Prices

If you want to visit the Vatican, and certainly Rome, at a more affordable cost you should certainly avoid certain times of the year.

Rome is a city with splendid weather; it is never freezing cold and rainy all the time.

You can therefore take advantage of the less touristy times to have a wonderful experience.

November, December (avoiding the holiday of the 8th ) through Christmas, and January 6 through mid-March are perfect months for a trip that will save you money on flights, hotels, and attractions.

And if you really don’t want to spend anything for the attractions, remember that on the first Sunday of every month the roman museums and the Colosseum are free!

Another date to keep in mind for free admission is September 27, World Tourism Day.

The Vatican Museums, on the other hand, are free on the last Sunday of the month.
